I studied Modern History, Social Anthropology and
Sociology at German and Swiss Universities before I came to England to
train as a Psychotherapist.
Psychosynthesis spoke to me personally because of
its inclusive nature: Psychosynthesis includes spirituality as a dimension
of human experience, which connects us to purpose and meaning in our
lives. It acknowledges the ambiguity of the journey of the soul in terms
of personal and spiritual, of the past and the future and of the neurotic
and the existential.
I am particularly interested in the complex connection
between psyche and body and its effects on our mental and physical health
and wellbeing and the meaning of healing on all levels. I also believe
that the issue of death and dying is relevant for all of us to set the
context for a meaningful and conscious life. In my therapeutic work
I enjoy accessing the abstract mind through imagination, guided meditation,
exploring dreams or drawing.
