I am a Psychotherapist treating individuals and groups
in private practice since 1994. My approach is that of classical Psychosynthesis;
to help you understand the meaning of emotional turmoil and problematic
behaviour patterns by exploring their underlying, often unconscious
causes in a containing environment focused on your needs. Psychological
distress is treated as having, at its core, healthy impulses which have
become frustrated, impeding self realisation. Therapy proceeds in a
practical way; through finding the health in the symptom and fostering
its proper expression. The aim is profound personal change.
In addition to full registration as a Psychotherapist
I hold certificates in Counselling Theory and Practice from the Central
School of Counselling and Theray (Rogerian) and in Group Analysis (the
application of Psychoanalysis to the Group), awarded by the Institute
of Group Analysis.
